Matthew 11:12
“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
We must be violent; spiritually violent. We live in a time of ease and relaxation. We must return to spiritual violence, and we must allow the Holy Spirit to rush forth and push through us, into our world. The Kingdom of heaven is being invaded, and we must be violent persons in the ways of the Spirit. The NLT says, “…now, the Kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people are attacking it.” This is the generation we live.
I cannot afford to be weak or lazy or laid back. Violent people are attacking the kingdom but how must I respond? Do I keep quiet and allow Satan to plunder uncontrollably? No way. This is war, and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God to pull down and destroy the advancing army. Our weapons are not fleshly and carnal. We are never to use physical violence. Our weapons are spiritual weapons, and we must use spiritual force to advance the Kingdom. Without violence, there will be no advance. We must be violent. I must become extremely violent if I want God’s agenda to move ahead. Without spiritual violence, the Kingdom would cave in to the invading armies of hell, and this we cannot let to happen in our generation. Arise and be violent. “O Church of God, Arise!”
“Lord, there’s so much carnage. There’s so much plunder. There’s so much destruction. There’s so much weakness. There’s so much spiritual failure. There’s so much carnality. The Kingdom is under severe attack. Lord, I cannot afford to be weak. O Lord, make me violent. Make me extremely violent, in Jesus name. Amen.”
