Matthew 13:43  

“Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!”

This world is not the end game for us. We who belong to the Messiah have a higher and brighter future, and the hope we have in this world is that we belong to another kingdom. The day is coming when we shall shine in that Promised Land. While men fight to kill and gather and store in this world, we know that God has so much more in store for us and we refuse to join in the global village and the rat race to shine the most in this world.

We have a blessed hope. The place where we will truly shine is not here. Yes, even in this world, we will shine with the glory of Jesus, but the shining here is darkness compared to the brightness of the future shine in the kingdom of our Father. Oh! What a blessed hope. What comfort to the aching heart. Oh! What joy to know that even if we are considered irrelevant and inconsequential in this world, there is a kingdom where we are legitimate children and whereby the authority of the King, we shall shine like the noonday sun. Hallelujah and Amen.

“Yes, Father, Hallelujah, and Amen. And thank You so much for this blessed hope. Amen.”
