HE WILL COME

Matthew 14:25

“Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea.”

The good news is that we are never alone. Jesus will come. I am not sure when exactly He will come and am not sure how He will come, but one thing I know is; my Jesus will come. Hallelujah. I may be tossed around by the winds, and powerful and wicked storms may confront me, but I will not drown because Jesus will come.

Jesus came in the fourth watch. He came walking on water. He came after the disciples had felt overwhelmed, exhausted and dizzy from the effort. He came after their strength was all gone. But He came, and that’s the best news in the world. Jesus comes. Jesus will come. If He has to walk on water to get to us, He will do it. What is my REST in this life? It’s that Jesus knows my location, even if it’s in the middle of the seas; and He will come to me. Amen.

“Thank You, Jesus, because I am never left alone. Thank You, Jesus, because You do not leave Your own alone. Thank You, Jesus, because the storms will not drown me after tossing me to and fro. Thank You, Jesus. Amen.”
