Galatians 1:1
“Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead)”
We must remind ourselves that our calling is not by men nor through men. This understanding is foundational to anchoring our personality, our identity and our ministry. And no man can take glory for our calling or our ministry. God may have used men in the process but it is not of men, neither from men.
The call is from Jesus Christ and God the Father. This is the singular, united duo to whom I am indebted in this call. Again, God may have chosen to work through men in the process of communicating the call but I must always be firm that my allegiance is to God who calls and not man. Never forget: your calling is not by men or of men; and your primary indebtedness is not to man. Remember this always.
“Lord, thank You for showing me mercy & for calling me to Yourself in Christ. I owe You my total allegiance all the days of my life. Amen.”
