Matthew 21:23
“Now when He came into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people confronted Him as He was teaching, and said, ‘By what authority are You doing these things? And who gave You this authority?’ “
To say that you will be challenged is an understatement. Every man or woman who’s operating in the will of God will be tested. To be confronted is not a problem; what we really need to do is to be sure of the platform on which we stand. The real question to answer is, “Who’s asking you to do what you are doing?”
If our base is strong, it can carry whatever is placed on it. If our core is weak, it will crumble under pressure. We need to be sure WHY we are doing what we are doing and WHO is standing behind us as we do what we do. If our motivation is simply in obedience to the One who sends us, then we will survive whatever the enemy throws at us. So, don’t worry about people challenging you, neither should you pray it away. Just ensure that you are anchored on Him who sent you and that you are executing His project and in His own pattern. That’s all that matters.
“Lord, I know You have my back covered, I know You are standing with me because You sent me. Help me find peace and rest in this, irrespective of the people challenging me out there. In Jesus name. Amen.”
