Matthew 22:1
“And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said”
This is not the first time Scripture says, “Jesus answered and said” when in reality, no question was asked. It would seem on the surface that the bible was not correctly beginning sentences because one cannot logically say you were answering a question when no question was asked. However, because we are talking about Jesus, He is always answering questions, even the un-asked questions in our hearts. We carry so many inner struggles, and ideas and Jesus sees them all, even when we are afraid to speak them out. Praise God that in His sovereign wisdom, He many times goes ahead and answers them.
I need Jesus to speak into my situation. I need Jesus to answer my unanswered questions. I need Jesus to dig deep into my subconscious and give the right Word that would meet my deepest and innermost struggles. Because Jesus knows me, I need Him to go beyond the questions I ask openly; and I need Him to answer my deepest puzzles, hidden inside the secret crevices of my heart.
“Lord Jesus, this is the cry of my heart. Go in deep Lord. I have questions that even I don’t know am thinking. Answer them, Lord. Solve my hidden riddles because You know me more than I know myself. Amen.”
