Matthew 24:24, 27

“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”

The first coming of Jesus was in secret, in humility and in poverty. He needed to come in the “likeness of Man” and chose the meek and simple dwellings of a carpenters’ home to make His abode. The first coming did not require a global awakening and notification, but not so with the second coming.

In His return, He will come as a bright and shining light. The world will know that someone significant has intercepted history. The impact on humanity and life on earth will be significant and immediate. Jesus’ second coming will be dramatic and not secretive. Jesus was however very clear in His stern warning: “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” -verse 24. Anyone who claims to be Christ, must come as Christ said He would, “as the Lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west.” I wait for His glorious return and I have no patience or tolerance for every fake impostor who claims to be Christ.

“Lord, I know You will preserve the elect from this end time deception. O Lord, come Jesus and come in such a way that there cannot be doubt concerning You anymore. Amen.”
