FULFILLING MY DESTINY

December 29, 2018

Matthew 26:24

“The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”

It doesn’t matter the reason for my death; all that matters is ensuring that I die according to God’s will for my life. It’s not my duty or my role to decide where, how or when I pass away from this dispensation. God has all that figured out, and it’s written down concerning me. I am satisfied that God knows and I should rest my case in this knowledge.

I cannot and will not die before the time allotted to me. I have my destiny engraved in the books of heaven. My days and my years are in His hands. So why fret and worry about what I cannot change. When the days of pain come, God will surely give me the grace to face it. Worrying about it does not remove it from the written scroll. It has been written about me. I will fulfill my destiny, both the days of pleasure, the days of pain and the day of death.

“Father, grant me Your peace as I walk through the narrow paths of this earth. You know all that will happen to me. Grant me Lord, the faith to believe that You are ordering my steps according to Your prophetic destiny for my life. And in this, I have my security and rest. Amen.”
