Matthew 26:64

“…Nevertheless, I say to you, hereafter you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

The Lord has been so good to me and I cannot wait to see Him return in power. There cannot be a more glorious sight than to see my Redeemer sitting in His glory and returning in His power. And while His coming may terrify some, I long for His return. The return of Jesus will mark the end of all the tragedies and struggles of humanity.

We will experience unfathomable joy to see the Lord return in His glory. Right now, we struggle with so much sin, weakness and human frailties, but when our Lord shall return, all our sorrows shall be wiped away. While some people have placed all their hopes in what this world can offer them, I long more earnestly for the return of my King. I refuse to keep my eyes on the transient mirage called human existence. I look expectantly for the great return of my Great King.

“Come Lord Jesus, come. Come in Your glory, and in Your power. Come Lord Jesus, come; and please come quickly. Amen.”
