How can we put off this old aroma and wear the new?

How can the new life dispel the beauty of God’s glory in us?

How can we rise above the repeated pitfalls of the Old Nature?

The secret is in what you gaze upon.

If you gaze upon yourself, you will only see filth and dirt.

If you gaze upon those around you, you will see gaps and failures.

But if you gaze upon Christ,

His glory will descend on you and transform you.

The only way to guarantee a transformed life is by gazing correctly.

The eyes are the window to the soul,

And what the eye focuses on leads to how the soul is transformed.

Gaze upon Christ my friend.

Stop gazing elsewhere.

Your frustration and futility will only multiply,

If you don’t stay focused on Christ.

Gaze on His glory,

The very image of the Almighty God.

Meditate and reflect on Him who is all glorious,

And in so doing, you will become like Him.

Don’t look away.

Keep your heart transfixed on Christ,

And your change will happen, slowly but surely.

It’s not in your human strength to change yourself.

It’s the work of the Holy Spirit,

And He works in and on those who make Christ their central focus.

Focus on Christ and your change is certain.

Focus on Christ and your aroma will change.

Focus on Christ and your glory will come.

Focus on Christ and you will be made manifest.

Focus on Christ and you cannot be neglected.

Focus on Christ and your profit shall be on public display.

Focus on Christ and men will be attracted to you.

Focus on Christ and your impact will last eternity.
