Romans 12:5 (NLT)
“so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.”
Although different, we actually don’t have the option of choosing whether to connect with other parts of the Body or not. When you see ministries and churches that tend to operate exclusive of everyone else, they are not functioning as God intended His Body to function. This is more true for larger and more successful ministries and denominations. We are not just different, we are connected to each other. This was God’s master plan and divine design. It means that without the other parts playing their roles in your life, you cannot be complete.
Staying connected is therefore mandatory. Staying connected and receiving inputs from others is not optional. For a healthy life, a healthy faith and a healthy ministry, others must be involved in our affairs. We cannot grow or achieve any real heaven endorsed success, if we keep shielding ourselves from others. Since we cannot be wiser than God, and His Word says, “we all belong to each other,” then wisdom demands that we give way to His divine plan. We are connected in His Body. Some things I need have been placed in another part. Disconnecting myself means I lose out. Simple. So, choose to stay connected, even if others are very different from you.
“I hear You Lord. I hear You. I will stay connected even if they look different, speak different and having certain priorities I don’t agree with. I will stay connected. Amen.”
