1 Samuel 1:1 (NKJV)

“Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite.”

Elkanah was not just an Ephraimite; he was the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, and the son of Zuph. Elkanah was just a regular man living in the mountains of Zophim, but it was his portion and his destiny to produce the great prophet, Samuel. I don’t believe he had any idea that he was to be the one to bring fame and recognition to his lineage, more than his fathers his ancestors had ever had or conceived. Who had heard of Zuph? Who cared about someone called Tohu? But it was Elkanah’s destiny to bring the names of his ancestors into history and the holy books.

I believe this could be your portion. It could be that all that your ancestors dreamed and could never have imagined could become a reality through the products of your loins. You carry a Samuel within you, and even though you don’t know it now, at the right time, your Samuel will manifest. Live with the realization that you are pregnant with a destiny changer, and it is a great honor and privilege to carry God’s divine answer for your generation. He is within you, and from your loins shall come the solution to many. Amen.

“So let it be for me, Lord. Let the Samuel You have placed in my loins come forth and impact this generation. I am happy not to be known but let Samuel make history and change his generation for good and for God. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.”
