1 Samuel 10:5 (NKJV)
“After that you shall come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is. And it will happen, when you have come there to the city, that you will meet a group of prophets coming down from the high place with a stringed instrument, a tambourine, a flute, and a harp before them; and they will be prophesying.”

Satan has an ultimate game plan and we need to be ready for this, and know how to respond to it. From the scripture before us, the Bible says that there was a Philistine garrison located at the Hill of God. This may seem like a coincidence but it tells us a lot about how Satan operates and what his ultimate intentions are.

The devil and his agents are everywhere, but at the heart of what they do, they target anywhere worship is being offered to the Almighty God. Satan stations his army at the Hill of God to make sure worship does not happen at all, or will only happen by contention. They create impediments in our desire to meet God, put bottlenecks on our pathways, raise walls of resistance and floods of temptations – all to distract and weaken our consecration and effectiveness in worshipping God. The ultimate goal of Satan’s opposition is to stop man from worshipping God.

But how should we respond to this? We refuse to be silent. We insist to worship despite all the oppositions. We create groups and bands of worshippers who insist to worship, and who make their worship visible to all. There needs to be communities of worshippers who do not bow to any intimidation, but by insisting to worship, others become encouraged to also worship.

Despite the fears and obstacles, the band of prophets went to the high place of worship and as they went to and from the Hill of God, they worshipped with “stringed instruments, tambourine, flute, harp” with prophesying. Halleluya.

We are a people who will not and cannot be cowed into silence. No matter what Satan does, we will raise our voices in worship. We will continue to infuriate Satan by being visible and loud about our consecration, our love for God, and our worship. Satan will do everything possible to silence us, but our worship will only increase in volume and intensity.

We are part of this end-time band of prophets. We are God’s last card against Satan’s onslaught. Worship will not cease from our lips and our communities.

You need to be part of this army. You need to insist that nothing will stop your worship. The garrisons of Satan may be instilling fears and confusion around you and within you. Resist that desire to stop worship. Don’t let them silence your worship. You are part of the last days band of prophets. Make your worship visible and vocal.

They cannot silence you. They cannot silence us. And as we worship, others will be inspired to arise and also worship God. We declare and confirm our victory by continuing to worship God, despite every intimidation, oppression and strategy of Satan. Amen.
