- Schedule quiet time for and with God in an orderly way. Don’t leave it to “when I have time.” Make reading your Bible, praying, and listening to God your lifeline.
- Make time to do exercises, even if it’s to go for long walks few times a week.
- Don’t eat junk food because it’s killing your body – slowly!
- Stay in touch with family, even if it’s occasional text/ WhatsApp messages. Minimal communication is better than nothing.
- Get at least 6 hours of sleep (and for clearer mindset, maybe 7 hours if possible). If you must work late, wake up late.
- Have at least one close friend, mentor, prayer & accountability partner to talk things over with. It’s tough to go through life alone.
- Keep a list of things you MUST do. Prioritize them over other things calling for your attention. Not everything must be treated as urgent.
