1 Samuel 2:21 (NKJV)

“And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord.”

Don’t give up on God. God does not fail. Men will fail you. Systems will fail you. But God does not fail. Learn to hold on to Him even when it seems like the odds are stacked against you. The only issue is that we must be patient. Be patient with God. We have to learn to wait. God’s timing is different from ours. He works in His own time and not ours. And when it seems like He has failed you, just hold on a little longer. He will come through. I promise.

Hannah waited for God. She waited for years. She made a vow. She fulfilled her vow by handing her only son back to serve God. And then she waited again some more. But God did not fail her. God was in the business right from the beginning. He was watching her response to events. He was observing her devotion and her patience. He wanted to see if she would still trust Him, even when it seemed impossible to do so. And then He came through for her. Three sons and two daughters. Who would have imagined that Hannah’s story would end this way? Your story will end differently and gloriously – if you will wait for Him. He is faithful. Don’t shift. Don’t budge. Just keep your eyes on Him.
