Romans 1:23-24 (NKJV)

“and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man…who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.”

This is the foolishness that leads to the destruction of Man. Whenever we know the truth and rather choose a lie, we set ourselves up for the wrath of God. God is glorious and incorruptible and He demands to be worshipped as such. He is a jealous God and will not accept less than the total worship of Man. Any comparison of God with anything created is calling for the righteous wrath of God. He alone is blessed forever and everything else is a counterfeit, seeking to usurp His place.

Be warned. God protects His glory. Be warned. Don’t exchange the truth for a lie. Be warned. Never choose the creature over the Creator.  The consequences can be very grave once you have demeaned the glorious God and chosen in His place, anything that is created. Living for and worshipping the blessed and incorruptible God is the only glorious path for the spiritual and reasonable Man to take.

“I have failed whenever I choose anything other than living in and following God’s glorious path. Lord, You are blessed forever, and I live to worship and obey only You. Anything else is carnality.”
