A SPECIAL PRIVILEGE

Psalms 5:7 (NKJV)

‘But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy; in fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.’

Only mercy allows me to come into the house of God; only mercy allows me to enter into the courts of the Most High. Who am I to deserve such honor and privilege, to enter into the very house of God, to stand in the heavenly Jerusalem where the Elders and the heavenly beings stand? Oh, what privilege that I have through Jesus to enter into this Holy of Holies, by the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore will I not enter flippantly but with fear and reverence, knowing that it’s a privilege I am actually in His courts. I will enter in worship and to worship because there is always worship going on in there. It’s happening right now and because they don’t know time, they are in ever-present worship of Him who sits on the Throne and to the Lamb. The House of God is here and now. We need to come into that Holy Temple…now; but we need to come in rightly and reverently.

‘O Lord, again it is a great mercy that allows me even to enter in and call your name. And I dare to call you Father, you who are awesome and glorious and majestic- yet I can call you Father. Despite your being my Father, I still enter with reverence and awe because the heavenly temple is a place of utter worship and glory and I am privileged as a son to enter and join, the heavenly hosts who worship. O such blessedness; such mercy.’
